Nemenkai panagrinėjo išprotėjusio psicho/nevykėlio/pašlemėko Dugino "teorijas" ir tai kad Tucker Carlson buvo jį pasikvietęs. Nors skirtingai nei mano nemažai vakariečių, koks Marius Laurinavičius ar pan., teigčiau jog Duginas yra daugiau putleriui propagandiškai atliepiantis radikalus naudingas idiotas, nei koks reikšmingas ideologinis aktorius ar "smegenys" putinizme. Nors tai ir nereiškia kad Duginas yra nekenksmingas veikėjas.

Plius tam tikra tematika paskutiniu metu gan stropus Tucker Carlson prieš kelias dienas išleido trumpą interviu su užsienyje gan nepelnytai žinomu klounu-filosofu Aleksandru Duginu. T.y. ištraukė jį iš dėžutės parodyti savajai amerikiečių auditorijai. Irgi kiek smalsu, kokį maždaug bendrą įspūdį Carlson sekantiems amerikiečiams minėtas ufonautas padarė. Jeigu kas kur prabėgom netyčia susidūrė su kokia vietinių apžvalga ar aptarimu ta tema, gal net neblogai būtų, jei galėtų pasidalinti kokia nuoroda ir čia.

Liongino pointas buvo, kad Vokietija, prispirta naujų aplinkybių, bent jau pradėjo taisyti savo iš rikiuotės išėjusius energetikos dantis. Gal kiek susitaisys ir ateityje kels mažiau problemų. O Orbanas ir Fico, iš šono žiūrint, pagal viską nusprendė ir toliau palikti kaip ir buvo.

Aš kiek paskubėjau su išvadomis. Tiek bukas, tiek bukesnis turi iš kur gauti dujų. Kacapų dujos jiem nėra vienintelis pasirinkimas. Tai yra tiesiog jų moralinis pasirinkimas. Jie nori už dujas mokėti ruskiams, nes jie yra ruskių pusėje.

Fico dar papildomai nori iš tų dujų tranzito užsidirbti, todėl ir puolė į tokią isteriją.

Įdomu šiame "seriale" kažkiek paspėlioti kiek minėtieji Europos chuliganai sau taškų tariamai išloš ir kiek ne.

U.S. involvement would also benefit Washington, giving it visibility, and possibly some control, over how much Russian gas returns to Europe, two diplomatic sources and a White House source said.

Since 2022, Europe has turned to other gas providers, including U.S. exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Putin's investment envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, have held conversations about gas as part of Ukraine peace talks, two of the eight sources said.

Witkoff's spokesperson declined to comment when asked if he discussed the issue of Russian gas exports to Europe.

"Currently, there are no such discussions," Russia's Direct Investment Fund, headed by Dmitriev, said in a statement to Reuters.

Elliott Investment Management is in preliminary negotiations to acquire a stake in a package of infrastructure assets that includes the Bulgarian section of the TurkStream gas pipeline, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter.

TurkStream delivers gas to Türkiye through one line and to countries including Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia through a second.

The system has a total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters annually. As of January 1, 2025, following the cessation of transit via Ukraine, TurkStream has become Gazprom’s sole delivery route to Europe.

In 2024, Gazprom received the second largest revenue in its entire history, and the company's net profit amounted to 1.2 trillion rubles. The main reasons were the growth of gas exports to Europe at higher prices and the depreciation of the ruble.

Gazprom has published its financial statements for 2024 under the International Financial Reporting System (IFRS).

"In 2024, Gazprom Group's revenue increased by 25% compared to 2023 and amounted to 10.7 trillion rubles. This is the second highest result in the history of Gazprom. Revenue growth was provided by each segment of the group's business," said Famil Sadygov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

Judging by the reporting data, the main role was played by gas exports. Its revenue increased by more than 1 trillion rubles — up to 4.1 trillion rubles. At the same time, the company's oil business showed an increase of 500 billion rubles.

Gas revenues were affected by the growth of gas exports to Europe, where there were higher fuel prices in 2024. Deliveries increased by about 10% to 33 billion cubic meters. Exports to China also increased. The increase amounted to more than 8 billion cubic meters, up to 31 billion cubic meters.

Another factor is the depreciation of the ruble. Gazprom cites data that as of December 31, 2023, the exchange rate of the national currency was 89.6 rubles to the US dollar, and on December 31, 2024 — 101.7 rubles.

The $1.375 billion payment dwarfs the fines the tech giant has paid to settle similar lawsuits brought by other U.S. states. In November 2022, it paid $391 million to a group of 40 states. In January 2023, it paid $29.5 million to Indiana and Washington. Later that September, it forked out another $93 million to settle with California.

The case, originally filed in 2022, related to unlawful tracking and collection of user data, regarding geolocation, incognito searches, and biometric data, tracking users' whereabouts even when the Location History setting was disabled and collecting the biometric data without informed consent.
